Temba has been sitting much more reliably both at home and out on walks. One of the situations where he still doesn't always respond is when we're getting ready to go outside. He doesn't appear outwardly anxious, but he gets hesitant about taking treats, and doesn't respond to commands I know he knows.
Despite this, I've been working more on impulse control with him. The last few days I have been keeping him in "sit" for slightly longer periods of time with the door open before releasing him with a "let's go". He has had a couple false-starts, but usually sits back down when I say "wait".
He also has been doing well with sit-wait for meals. I wasn't keeping track of the duration at first, but I've been counting now. I have him up to 45 sec.
